Built for apple, peach, and pear growers who want precision, not guesswork.
Frost protection, fruit set, irrigation precision, disease pressure, picking timing, measured per block, not per property.

The problems that determine yield and grade.
Spring frost protection
Blossom and fruit set are the most frost-vulnerable stages. Per-block temperature monitoring with forecast overlay, a shielded microclimate probe in the cold end of the block, and every node knowing its own height against the rest of the orchard warn you which blocks are at risk, hours ahead, and can trigger frost protection automatically through certified control modules on the node's own bus, with safety interlocks in our layer.
Fruit set monitoring
Temperature and humidity during pollination directly affect fruit set rates. Track conditions block by block during the critical window and correlate with your historical set data.
Irrigation precision
Soil moisture at multiple depths per block, and a trunk collar on the tree reading the daily shrink and overnight recovery in microns, because growth stalls under stress before the leaves show it. Tank monitoring, plus pump and valve control through certified relay modules on the node's own bus, or the scheduler deciding each night from the probe and the forecast. Water the trees that need it, not the ones that don't. Interlocks in our layer guard against pump dry-run and over-pressure.
Disease pressure
Apple scab, fire blight, brown rot, each has specific temperature and humidity windows. The AI tracks conditions per block against disease risk models and warns before symptoms appear.
Picking timing
Heat accumulation, soil moisture trends, and UV exposure tracked per block through the season. The AI estimates optimal picking windows per block, not one date for the whole orchard.
Re-entry, withholding, and cost per bin
Re-entry periods run from the recorded application, so whether a picking crew can walk into a block today is a question with an answer. The same entries give you cost per hectare and, once the fruit is weighed in, cost per bin — built from the jobs rather than from the invoice pile.
One gateway. Sensors throughout the orchard.
Nodes go between the rows, at the places the block behaves differently — frost pockets, wind shadows, the moisture gradient across a slope. How many depends on how much the block varies, not on its size, and we work that out walking it with you.
Tank and flow sensors on irrigation infrastructure. One LoRa gateway for the property. No wiring, no trenching.

Calibrated to what you grow.
The AI adjusts thresholds and recommendations based on the specific fruit varieties in each block, frost tolerance, disease susceptibility, harvest timing.
Apples
Gala, Fuji, Granny Smith, Pink Lady, each with different chill-hour requirements, scab susceptibility, and harvest windows. The AI tracks per-variety.
Peaches
High chill-hour sensitivity, narrow harvest windows, and brown rot risk during humid weather. Temperature and humidity monitoring calibrated to stone fruit.
Pears
Fire blight is the constant threat. The AI watches temperature and humidity against fire blight risk models and flags conditions before infection windows open.
What a season looks like with TerraCast in an orchard.
We're documenting a full season with one of our early orchard partners, from blossom frost protection through picking timing. The write-up will appear here.
